“Discovering the Inner You”

Discover:  to be the first to find or find out about.

There are many things we don’t know about ourselves. We accept what is taught or passed down from generation to generation. However, God has strategically placed gifts and talents inwardly to be discovered. Think about it…we are born with these attributes but learn to discover and develop them. We really don’t know our full capacity until we are confronted with life and circumstances that cause us to step it up. Yes, step up to realize there’s something greater and bigger on the inside.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope.

So, if God has a plan for us then that means we must position ourselves to discover it.

Let’s begin our journey….

  1. “A Journey Through The Valley” by Alisha Fuller is a must read. The author uses scripture, inspirational poetry, and personal experiences to illustrate what her “valley experience” looked like as God begin to transform her life. As I began reading this book, I was able to identify with Alisha because of similar experiences but I was also challenged by Alisha because there are journal portions to the book, which allows for reflection, and I had to revisit some places, I wanted to forget about because the memories were too painful. To make a long story, I now see that God used rejection to shield me from danger and to help me discover my identity in Him.

  2. Your book has touched so many major areas of my life!!! I thank God for you! If you don’t have the book please go and get it!!!
